Pfarrkirche Mariahilf

The Catholic parish church of Mariahilf stands in Landl, a village in the Thiersee municipality of the Kufstein district in Tyrol. The church and its adjoining cemetery are protected monuments. A single-naved building with a west-facing tower, it was completed in 1794–95 and consecrated in 1824. Its interior features ceiling paintings by Sebastian Anton Defregger from 1817. The chancel vault shows the Nativity and the Four Evangelists, while the nave ceiling depicts scenes from the life of the Virgin. Empire-style furnishings from the early 19th century include three altars, each with painted panels and statues. The high altar centres on the Mariahilf image, flanked by statues of saints. The left altar shows the Crucifixion with figures of the weather saints Paul and John, and the right altar portrays the Baptism of Christ with statues of Nicholas and Sylvester. An organ by Franz Mauracher from 1921 completes the furnishings.
