The Wallfahrtskirche Mariä Heimsuchung stands on the highest rise in the rolling hills of northern Upper Austria, near the village of Kaltenberg. A Roman Catholic parish church since 1785, it preserves a late-18th-century building with a simple Josephinian exterior and a series of later restorations. A broad processional path links the church to Unterweißenbach, climbing through fourteen stone-built Stations of the Cross.

The church is notable for its late-19th-century historicist decoration and furnishings created by major Upper Austrian workshops. The high altar of 1896 holds a fourteenth-century Madonna flanked by figures from the 18th century, while the pulpit by Josef Kepplinger shows Moses and Christ the Saviour. A side altar of 1919 displays a relief of Saint George and a war memorial, and the organ by Joachim Prugger was restored in 1989.

Inside, the nave is spanned by ribbed vaults and lit by tall rectangular windows, while the choir has a flat-plate vault. The west gallery is reached by a narrow stair beside the tower, which contains a small entrance hall. The Ursprungskapelle at the village edge marks the legend of the 1658 discovery of the Gothic Madonna, and the steep hillside path from Unterweißenbach is lined with restored Stations of the Cross completed in 1983.
