Psallersöd is a former noble seat in Bodenkirchen, Lower Bavaria. It stands on the western bank of the Kresbach, a tributary of the Bina. The site is listed as a medieval earthwork and contains traces of earlier buildings beneath the surface. A wooden manor house once occupied the spot, surrounded by a moat. The complex included farm buildings outside the water-filled ditch.
The estate passed through several noble families after the Bschachl line died out in the 16th century. Hilpold von Neuhaus acquired it in 1597, expanding the Hofmark by buying additional farms. Maria Christiana von Etzdorf took possession in 1780, followed by her son Gottlieb Graf von Etzdorf in 1794. He served as a government councillor in Straubing and held the title of Comes Palatinus Major.
Today the site is occupied by a working farm with residential and agricultural buildings. The old moat has been filled in and no visible remains of the castle survive. The Kresbach still flows nearby, and the surrounding farmland preserves the memory of the vanished Hofmark. Visitors can see the farmhouse and its outbuildings where the medieval seat once stood.
