Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island Resort is a theme park in Ingoldmells on the east coast of Lincolnshire. The park opened in 1995 and is now owned by the Mellors Group. It has outdoor rides and an indoor entertainment complex inside a steel pyramid. The park’s rides are split between the pyramid and the surrounding outdoor space. In 2021 the Mellors Group added three main attractions: Starflyer, Magic, and Firebowl. The park has a history of changes in ownership. It started under Blue Anchor Leisure, then passed to Conduit Skegness Ltd before administration in 2014. Mellors Group bought it in 2016. In 2023 a technical fault on the Volcano launch tower led to first aid being offered to guests. In 2024 Outdoor Toys ranked Fantasy Island among the top ten UK theme parks for children. Visitors find a mix of rides inside the pyramid and across the outdoor site. The park also hosts what it calls Europe’s largest seven-day market. Families can enjoy rides added in 2021 or explore the market’s stalls. The resort sits close to Ingoldmells’ sandy beaches on the Lincolnshire coast.
