Inver Park

Inver Park is a football stadium in Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It has been the home ground of Larne Football Club since the land was acquired in 1918. The stadium sits beside a development site on the edge of the town. The pitch and stands occupy a compact plot surrounded by residential streets. Larne’s first team plays its home matches here in the NIFL Premiership. The stadium has grown with the club’s ambitions. In 2018 the Main Stand was renovated and a new artificial pitch laid. Floodlights were upgraded so evening games could be played. A 600-seat stand was added at the Bleach Green end before the 2019–20 season. Another 600-seat stand followed at the church end in 2020. Plans include a new Main Stand and a community hub, though work has not yet begun. Visitors find a tidy ground with modern stands and good sightlines. The artificial pitch stays in play through winter rain. The Main Stand offers covered seating close to the dugouts. The Bleach Green End and church-end stands hold most of the 2 732 capacity. The stadium’s compact shape makes every seat feel part of the action.
