Culnaskiach Falls

Culnaskiach Falls is a waterfall in the Highland council area of Scotland. It sits in gently rolling countryside about 700 kilometres north of London. The land rises to 235 metres above sea level where the water drops. The falls lie near Muir of Ord, the nearest sizeable settlement fourteen and a half kilometres to the north. Around the falls the land is covered with mixed woodland typical of the region. Paths lead through the trees to viewpoints beside the cascade. Visitors find a modest but attractive fall tumbling over rocks into a deep pool. The woodland path is wide enough for families and stays open in all but the severest weather. From the top of the falls the view stretches across the treetops to distant hills.
