Adrenalin Quarry

Adrenalin Quarry is a family-run adventure park in Menheniot, Cornwall. It sits on the site of an old flooded quarry that once supplied rock for local industry. The water-filled pit now hosts five different rides and activities. The park opened in 2009 under owner Will Sneyd and has grown each year since then. It is recognised as an area of special scientific interest for its careful environmental approach. British newspapers like The Guardian and The Sunday Times have praised it as a top Cornish attraction. The park’s rides include The Zip, a zip line over the flooded quarry, and The Giant Swing. Axe throwing and go-karting take place on solid ground nearby. In 2018 the Aqua Park opened, a large inflatable assault course floating on the water. This brought the total number of activities to five. The site’s history began in 1932 when it supplied Blue Elvin rock until 1969. Visitors find a mix of high-energy rides and open water. The Zip line launches from a platform at the western end of the lake. The Aqua Park’s inflatable obstacles rise above the water, offering challenges for all ages. Go-karting takes place on purpose-built tracks beside the quarry. Axe throwing targets stand in a separate area. The flooded quarry itself is 22 metres deep, creating a dramatic setting for every activity.
