Saïd Business School

Saïd Business School stands on Park End Street in Oxford, on land once used by Oxford Rewley Road railway station. The main building, designed by Edward Jones and Sir Jeremy Dixon, opened in 2001. A second centre at Egrove Park was added after Templeton College merged with Green College. The Thatcher Business Education Centre followed in 2012, funded by Wafic Saïd’s further donation. A former power station in Osney now houses the Global Leadership Centre, converted in 2019. The school is Oxford University’s department for graduate study in business, management and finance. Undergraduates read Economics and Management jointly with the Economics Department. Its one-year MBA programme enrols about 332 students each year, with 48% women and 63 nationalities represented. The Executive MBA runs over 22 months with modules partly taught abroad. Rankings place the school first globally in the 2025 QS Executive MBA list. Inside, the Park End Street building contains lecture theatres, seminar rooms and study spaces. The Egrove Park centre focuses on executive education. The Global Leadership Centre occupies the converted Osney power station. Outside, the site faces Oxford railway station, linking the school to the city’s transport network.
