Bedworth Civic Hall

The Bedworth Civic Hall is a multi-purpose entertainment venue in the heart of Bedworth, Warwickshire. It stands in the town centre, surrounded by shops and local businesses. The building contains a 763-seat main hall, a smaller hall, a gallery, meeting rooms, and two bars. One bar is downstairs, while the other is upstairs in the piano lounge. The piano lounge also hosts regular comedy nights. The venue has been a cultural hub for the community for over fifty years. The Civic Hall has welcomed many famous names over the decades. In 1990, Luciano Pavarotti rehearsed there with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Other performers have included Lenny Henry, Billy Ocean, AC/DC, and Cilla Black. Television shows like *Dickinson’s Real Deal* and *Question Time* have also used the hall. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it served as a vaccination centre. After a period of closure and redevelopment, it reopened in July 2024 under community management. Visitors now find a revitalised space with modern facilities. The main hall remains the centrepiece, hosting concerts, theatre, and public events. The piano lounge bar offers a relaxed setting for smaller performances. The smaller hall and meeting rooms provide spaces for local groups and gatherings. The gallery displays art exhibitions, adding to the venue’s cultural role. The Civic Hall continues to be a place where the community gathers for entertainment and events.
